Scooters Pizza Ballito is set to significantly increase its market share in Kwazulu-Natal following a comprehensive rebranding recently undertaken by the store. The makeover involved renovations being completed in the entire front section of the store, with the introduction of a design transformation to the Scooters Pizza logo, tagline, menu, signage and in-store furnishings.
Taste Holdings Food Division CEO, Christo Calitz says that he is confident that the store refresh will help Scooters Pizza Ballito to considerably bolster its business.
“Ballito is a rapidly growing community, and contains a selective customer base that is not only expectant of receiving the best value for money, but they also want a warm and welcoming environment in which to purchase food. Simultaneously, Scooters Pizza also identified that customers found the old Ballito store to be in need of a revamp, so we listened to them, and took the decision to upgrade the store.
“Subsequently, the rebranding has given the store a new lease of life, and our customers have already responded favourably to the new look. We are therefore confident that the refresh has significantly strengthened the store’s value offering, and will allow Scooters Pizza Ballito to grow its existing base by attracting new customers as well.”
Scooters Pizza Ballito store owner Sharmallan Pillay notes that the store refresh has also improved brand awareness, as the store is now far more noticeable and recognisable to customers. He adds that the move to rebrand ultimately shows respect for the customer, as it demonstrates Scooters Pizza Ballito is committed to making the consumer experience as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
Pillay concludes that he is determined to ensure that the store becomes entrenched in the Kwazulu-Natal market.
“I’m looking forward to maintaining Scooter Pizza’s immaculate brand reputation by ensuring that the store lives up to its full potential in the Ballito market. My team and I are also determined to provide great customer service as we know that it’s the key element that will ultimately set our store apart from the rest, and allow it to thrive well in to the future.”
