Francorp client, Friendly ice cream, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, has just acquired another Francorp client, Johnny Rockets, 300 unit chain of California.  Market Private Equity and mergers and acquisition of feasting on franchise companies developed Francorp.  Atlanta-based Roark Capital has acquired 7 Francorp clients including Auntie Anne's pretzels, Schlotzky's, Mcalister's Deli, evening primrose schools, where, plus signs quickly and batteries. Other clients of Francorp, Jimmy John 's, Papa Murphy and Valvoline also were either fully acquired or invested in private equity groups. Service Master acquired Francorp client, Terminex several years ago.
